Terms for using PortfolioBacktest.
These terms govern access to PortfolioBacktest’s website, workspace, backtesting tools, and any paid plan.

PortfolioBacktest provides tools for historical portfolio backtesting, controlled comparisons, saved calculations, and related educational information. Results are based on historical data and stated assumptions. They are not forecasts, investment research tailored to you, investment advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security.
Your use of the service
You must use the service lawfully, provide accurate account information, and protect your login details. You may not interfere with the service, attempt to bypass plan limits, reverse engineer non-public systems, scrape the service at scale, or use the service to provide regulated advice without all required permissions. You remain responsible for decisions you make using any output.
Accounts, data, and availability
We may update, improve, suspend, or retire features as the product evolves. Market data can be delayed, incomplete, corrected, or unavailable; calculations may change if data or methodology changes. You should independently verify information before relying on it. We may limit or suspend access where needed to protect users, comply with law, or prevent misuse.
Paid plans and billing
Paid plan features, prices, billing frequency, taxes, renewal terms, and any trial terms are shown before purchase. Payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. For recurring plans, your subscription renews at the displayed interval unless you cancel before renewal. Cancellation stops future renewal and normally leaves access available until the end of the already-paid period. Content and intellectual property
PortfolioBacktest and its software, design, documentation, and brand are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You retain rights in information you submit, and grant us the limited rights needed to operate and improve the service. You may export your own permitted results, but may not resell or republish the service or its content as your own product without permission.
Disclaimers and contact
The service is provided on an as-available basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that historical results will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, or predictive of future outcomes.
